Meet PAIGE mccoy, LIMHP, LADC

You deserve to become the best version of yourself.

If you are ready to take the next step in your journey of self-reflection and growth…

THen I’m so glad you are here & I CAN'T wait to walk alongside you in your journey

I’m here to help you dive into those uncomfortable feelings by creating a comfortable space to do the hard work.

While most would not classify therapy as “fun” I strive to make the experience as beneficial as possible for you. I enjoy using humor and authenticity in session which I have found helps people feel more at ease and more comfortable with being vulnerable during our time together.

My goal is to create a safe space for you to explore working through harder emotions, gain new insights into re-occurring themes in your life, and to teach you healthy coping skills so you feel empowered to handle all that life throws your way.

My style

I utilize a person centered and trauma informed approach in therapy.

I utilize person centered therapy with a trauma informed lens along with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.

Throughout our time together we will work to find which modalities work best for you. I enjoy utilizing somatic exercises, sand-tray, art-therapy techniques, and play therapy in session as needed. If we are working through trauma or negative experiences, I will utilize Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) if we feel this is a good fit for you.

I always encourage people to let me know what does and does not work for them so we can build a coping skills toolbox with the things that feel like the best fit for you.

My guiding principles

Growth

I want you to gain insight on how to become the best version of you so you can lead a more fulfilling life.

Trust

Is one of the most important aspects that I want to build in our time together, so you are able to open up and be vulnerable.

Authenticity

I will always show up as my authentic self in session and want you to feel comfortable to do the same.

Safety

I want this space to be a safe space for you and for you to know we will go at the pace that feels right for you during our time together.
